We are Kenny Speirs (principal vocal and guitar) John Rafferty (lead guitar) and Ian Anderson (fiddle, bouzouki and second vocal) .
Kenny has been a well known face on the folk scene for over thirty years and was a founder member of the “John Wright Band”. Following that success he formed “Real Time” and has toured the UK and Europe celebrating his 30th consecutive year touring Germany, Switzerland and Holland in March 2024. He is an accomplished song writer and guitarist.

John, surprisingly , has spent many years performing in rock bands. His pin sharp accoustic lead guitar work lends a new and interesting sound to the bands arrangements.
Ian, the latest recruit, is a multi instrumentalist playing fiddle, Bouzouki, mandolin , tenor banjo and guitar and was a founder member of “Fiddlers Leap”. He has recorded and appeared with some the brightest and best in the scottish folk scene at Folk festivals including Edinburgh, Orkney and several times at Celtic Connections. He sings second vocals to Kennys lead and augments the songs with fiddle. He also livens things up occasionaly with some “spirited” playing.
